Plantar Fasciitis is a common condition which causes pain at the heel. The onset of pain is typically experienced at the start of the day or after a period of rest. The plantar fascia is a thick tissue at the sole of the foot and has a supportive role in the movement of the foot during walking. Symptoms from plantar fasciitis may arise as a result suboptimal footwear or starting new exercises. Repetitive injury to the plantar fascia can result in tears and inflammation resulting in symptoms of pain.
We offer a convenient one stop clinic and competitive fixed price diagnostics package to identify the issue and recommend prompt treatment.

Platelet Rich Plasma or PRP
Platelet rich plasma or PRP is an innovative new treatment in sports and orthopaedic medicine and uses your own blood for healing muscle, tendon and ligament injuries. A small amount of your blood is placed in a filtration system, which separates your red blood cells from plasma and platelets. This plasma contains high concentration of your own body growth fractures which are injected into your injured tissue and initiates your body’s natural healing response. Your procedure will be carried out at our Harley Street out-patient department.
This treatment is widely researched and supported in clinical papers – see our evidence section to find out more.
