Mr Heidari qualified in 1998 from St George’s Hospital and undertook his orthopaedic and trauma training at the Royal London Hospital. He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2009. In 2012 he was appointed as a Consultant at the Royal London Hospital, the largest trauma centre in Europe. Since then he has set up the Foot and Ankle Unit as well as the Bone Infection Service. He provides a tertiary service for complex foot and lower limb injuries. Mr Heidari has worked widely in Europe, Canada and USA on multiple fellowships in trauma and foot and ankle surgery. In 2012 he became a Fellow of the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust having completed a Travelling Fellowship across the US and Canada.

Foot and ankle: ankle arthritis, joint preserving surgery for arthritis, arthroscopy, bunion correction, reconstruction of the foot following trauma, complex foot and ankle fractures, adult flat foot, adult high arch, sports injuries of the foot and ankle.
Lower limb reconstruction: deformity correction, limb lengthening, treatment of bone infection, complex post-trauma reconstruction.
Orthopaedic trauma: complex intra-articular fractures of the lower limb, complex foot fractures including: Lisfranc (mid foot) injuries and calcaneus (heel bone) injuries.
